Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large heavy saucepan and leave the bacon out for a few minutes, then add the onions and fry everything until brown. Depending on how finely the garlic is cut, add it shortly before the end of the roasting time. Then add the sugar (if you don`t like it so sweet, only take 1/3 of the amount), then add the tomato paste and the sambal (maybe less and season later). Wait a few minutes so that the sugar can melt and then fry everything, stirring constantly, until it starts to set properly - it shouldn`t turn black.
  2. Deglaze with the vinegar and stir again until it is almost completely reduced. Season to taste, it should taste sweet and hot, mix in the beans, possibly add a little granular stock or salt, depending on your taste.
  3. Turn the stove down very small and stir in the noodles so that they are lightly coated with the sauce. If it is too dry, add a little bit of water.
  4. The next day it tastes even better when warmed up.
