Ingredients

  • 2 kg ground beef
  • 1 kg Kritharaki (noodles in rice form)
  • 5 medium shallot (s)
  • 2 liters beef broth
  • 5 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 liter cream
  • 5 teaspoons salt
  • 5 teaspoons white pepper, ground
  • 5 teaspoon thyme
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil with truffle
  • 250 g Gouda cheese, rated
  • 4 tomato (s)

Instructions

  1. Fry the minced meat in the oil until brown and crumbly, season with salt and pepper and then remove from the pan.
  2. In the same pan, fry the onions and tomato paste, deglaze with the stock and season with salt, thyme and pepper.
  3. Layer the kritharaki alternately with the minced meat in a baking dish, starting and finishing with the noodles. Pour the tomato sauce over it. Then pour the cream evenly over it. Finally sprinkle with grated Gouda cheese. Bake at 200 ° C top / bottom heat for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  4. Cut the tomatoes into slices and decorate the casserole with them. Then put it back in the oven and finish cooking in 20-25 minutes.
