Ingredients

  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed (lamb and beef)
  • 1 large potato (s)
  • 1 tomato (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • cumin
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Put the minced meat in a bowl. Peel the potato and grate on a grater. Do the same with the onion and the tomato. Mix everything together with the minced meat.
  2. Then wash and finely chop the parsley, add some of it to the minced meat mixture, because keep the rest for serving. Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, salt, pepper and cumin and mix everything well again.
  3. Form meatballs out of the meat dough, but the shape should be a bit smaller and definitely flat so that the meatballs cook faster. Fry in the oil.
  4. It goes well with flatbread and a nice salad. Serve the remaining parsley with the onions.
