Ingredients

  • 4 Lammhaxe (s) (lamb stilts), order from the butcher in advance
  • 2 carrot (s)
  • 3 bell peppers, red, green, yellow
  • 5 onion (s), sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 can pizza tomatoes
  • 3 red chilli pepper (s), sliced
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped thyme, dried

Instructions

  1. Soak the römertopf for 24 hours. Do not preheat the oven!
  2. Cut the carrots, peppers and onions into large pieces. Cut the garlic and chilli into thin slices and add to the canned tomatoes. Place the lamb shanks in the pot and distribute all the ingredients on top. Put the lid on and cook in the oven for about 3 hours at 180 degrees. When the meat comes off the bone, it`s done.
