Lavash, Sausage and Cheese Flatbread

A delicious and satisfying tortilla without fiddling with dough and filling is the dream of many. Lavash flatbread with sausage and cheese is just such a recipe. A nutritious breakfast like this will provide energy for most of the day!

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Milk – 100 ml
  • Thin lavash – 100 g (1 sheet)
  • Boiled sausage – 150 g
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2 tbsp

    For decoration (optional):

  • Green onion – 2-3 feathers

Directions

  1. Cut the lavash into thin strips and place in a deep bowl.
  2. Cut the sausage into small cubes and send it to a bowl of pita bread.
  3. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  4. Add the grated cheese to a bowl of pita bread and sausage. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Combine eggs, milk, and salt in a separate bowl. Shake with a fork or whisk until smooth.
  6. Pour the egg and milk mixture into a bowl of pita bread, sausage, and cheese. Stir.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet (preferably with a thick bottom) over low heat. Pour the egg mixture with pita bread, sausage and cheese into the pan.
  8. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the tortilla over low heat for about 8-10 minutes, until the egg mass sets. Then use a plate to turn the cake over to the other side and fry for about 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
