Leeks in Cream, Baked with Cheese

Ingredients

  • Leeks – 2 pcs. (400 g)
  • Butter – 1.5 tbsp
  • Cream – 150 ml
  • Hard cheese – 30 g
  • Ground nutmeg – 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the leeks (its white part) into slices.
  2. Heat the butter in a skillet that can be sent to the oven.
  3. Place the chopped leeks in the pan. Stew the onion, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Also, add a pinch of ground nutmeg to the onion.
  6. Pour the cream into the pan.
  7. Grate hard cheese on a medium grater.
  8. Place the cheese in an even layer in the pan. Send the pan with leeks to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 15-18 minutes.
  9. Leeks in cream, baked with cheese, ready.
