Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 6 egg (s)
  • salt
  • 310 g suar
  • 125 g butter
  • 4 lime (s)
  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 200 g sour cream or sour cream
  • 2 packs custard powder (vanilla)
  • 3 tablespoon semolina
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

  1. Knead the flour, 1 egg, 1 pinch of salt, 60 g of sugar and butter (cut into flakes) using a hand mixer to form a smooth shortcrust pastry. Wrap in foil and leave to cool for about 30 minutes.
  2. Wash limes and rub dry. Rub the peel of 3 limes and squeeze out the juice. Mix the quark, cream cheese, sour cream or sour cream, 250 g sugar, lime juice and lime zest, 5 eggs, pudding powder and semolina together.
  3. Roll out the shortcrust pastry on a floured work surface. Line a prepared springform pan with it. Press the edge into place. Pour in the quark mixture and smooth it out.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for approx. 50 - 60 minutes. Cover after 40 minutes if necessary.
  5. Take the cake out of the oven, remove it from the tin and let it cool for approx. 2 1/2 hours.
  6. Cut 1 lime into thin slices and decorate the cake with it.
