Lobio Rumili

Ingredients

  • Red beans – 250 g
  • Bulb onions – 3-4 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Walnut – 80 g
  • Parsley – 0.5 bunch (to taste)
  • Cilantro – 0.5 bunch (to taste)
  • or dill – 0.5 bunch (to taste)
  • Vinegar 9% – 1-2 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Salt – 0.5-1 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Pepper – 0.25 teaspoon (to taste)

Directions

  1. Sort the beans, wash, add cold water. Soak for 2-3 hours. Drain the water.
  2. Pour cold water over pre-soaked beans. Put the pan on the fire. Boil. Then boil until tender over medium heat (about an hour).
  3. Strain the beans.
  4. Peel the onion, wash, cut into cubes.
  5. Wash greens and chop finely.
  6. Crush the walnuts with a rolling pin.
  7. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Put the onion in hot oil. Saute, stirring occasionally, over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Put the beans in a bowl, season with sautéed onions, grated nuts, vinegar, finely chopped herbs, pepper, and salt to taste.
  9. Mix well. Lobio was finished.
