Ingredients

  • 500 g beans, fresh reens
  • 200 g bacon, leaner
  • 4 onion (s)
  • 1 leek
  • 3 potato (s)
  • 2 liters broth
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 clove (s)
  • some stalks savory
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cream

Instructions

  1. Clean the beans, cut into 1-2 cm pieces and wash. Dice the bacon, chop the onions and cut the cleaned and thoroughly washed leek into thin rings. Finely chop the savory.
  2. Sweat the bacon and onions well in the butter in a large saucepan. Then add the broth with beans, leek, cloves, bay leaf and savory, season with salt and pepper and bring the broth to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, then add the diced potatoes and cook for another 10 minutes.
  3. Refine with the cream, fish out the bay leaf and cloves, bring to the boil again and season to taste.
