Mannik with Fish, Boiled Eggs and Mayonnaise-Sour Cream Filling

Delicious dough and juicy filling! Prepare the dough with sour cream and mayonnaise, put canned fish with boiled eggs, fried onions, and herbs on top, fill with a mixture of mayonnaise, sour cream, and eggs, and then send to the oven. These pastries are perfect for almost any meal, and will also serve as a great snack.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Sour cream 15-25% – 100 g
  • Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Semolina – 100 g
  • Flour – 60 g (0.5 cups with a capacity of 200 ml)
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon

    For filling:

  • Canned fish (I have mackerel in oil) – 270 g
  • Hard cheese (optional) – 50 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Onions – 180 g
  • Fresh herbs (I have dill and parsley) – 30 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 1.5 tbsp

To fill:

  • Sour cream – 50 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  • Flour – 25 g
  • Mustard (ready-made seasoning) – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Start by making the dough. Pour semolina into sour cream. Stir and leave for 15-25 minutes to swell.
  2. In the meantime, let’s prepare the filling: peel the onion, rinse and dry, and then cut into cubes.
    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Place the bow on it. Fry the onions in vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes over medium heat.
  3. Mash the pieces of canned fish with a fork into small pieces.
  4. Add fried onions to the fish.
  5. Immerse the eggs in a saucepan with water and boil until tender (from the moment the water boils, cook for 10 minutes). Cool eggs in cold water. Peel the eggs, cut into cubes and add to the fish.
  6. Rinse the greens, chop finely and add the filling to the rest of the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir. The filling is ready.
  7. To pour, mix sour cream and mayonnaise.
  8. Add egg and mustard. Stir.
  9. Add flour and salt. Stir. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  10. Now back to the dough: add eggs and mayonnaise to the swollen semolina. Stir.
  11. Add the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir. You should get a dough of moderate density (like pancakes).
  12. I used the form 20×20 cm. I covered it with parchment paper. Pour the dough into a mold, smooth the surface.
  13. Place the filling on top of the dough.
  14. Spread the filling evenly over the surface, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  15. Spread the filling evenly over the cheese layer. Smooth the surface. Send the fish manna to the hot oven for 40-60 minutes to bake at 180 degrees. The baking time depends on the power of your oven.
  16. Mannik with fish filling and egg-sour cream filling is ready. Check readiness with a skewer – pierce the dough with it. If the skewer remains dry, then the pie is cooked.
    Cool the mannik a little, cut in portions, and serve.
