Ingredients

  • 100 g marzipan paste, soft
  • 175 g mararine, soft, or butter
  • 75 g powdered suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 3 drops bitter almond flavor
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Mix the marzipan with the soft butter until foamy, add the powdered sugar, the salt and the flavoring and stir. Then stir in or knead in the flour.
  2. Divide the dough and knead the cocoa into one half.
  3. Then gently intertwine both types of dough, so that a marble pattern is created.
  4. Shape the dough into 3 cm thick rolls and place in the freezer for about 1 - 1 ½ hours.
  5. Cut about 1/2 cm thick slices from the frozen dough rolls. Place on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
  6. Bake at 180 ° in a preheated oven for about 12 minutes.
