  • 150 g nuts, mixed
  • 2 tablespoon raisins
  • 4 cl grappa
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon apricot jam
  • 100 g marzipan
  • 4 strudel sheets
  • butter
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Lightly toast the nut mixture in a saucepan. Put the raisins in another saucepan. Add the water and grappa to the raisins, add the cinnamon stick and honey. Add butter to the nut mix. Mix the apricot jam with the raisins, add the marzipan in small pieces and stir well, remove from the heat. Now mix everything well.
  2. Spread out the strudel pastry and distribute the mixture in small portions on a strudel pastry sheet, cover with the second sheet and cut out the squares. Press the edges well.
  3. Brush the baking sheet with butter, place the strudel dumplings on the sheet and bake in the oven at 200 ° C for about 5-8 minutes. Put butter in the saucepan of the nut mixture and brush the bags with the melted butter shortly before the end of the baking time. Arrange and dust with powdered sugar if necessary.
  4. Serve best with yogurt, sour cream or ice cream.
