Ingredients

For the shortcrust pastry:

  • 100 g suar
  • 200 g butter or other fat, cold, in small pieces
  • 300 grams flour

For the filling:

  • 400 g mascarpone
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 500 g low-fat quark
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 180 ml milk
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 bag vanilla sugar
  • 30 grams flour
  • 250 g red fruit jelly, taste as desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven (175 ° C or 150 ° C convection).
  2. First prepare the shortcrust pastry. To do this, quickly knead the flour, cold butter and sugar into a crumbly shortcrust pastry. Press into the mold. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, mix the mascarpone, cream cheese, quark and sugar with a hand mixer. Then add the milk in sips and stir well in each case. Mix the eggs one by one very well into the mixture. Finally, add the vanilla sugar and the flour all at once and mix well again to create a homogeneous cheese mixture.
  4. Fill the springform pan lined with the shortcrust pastry with the entire cheese mixture. Finally, distribute the red groats in blobs over the mixture (the cheese mixture should still be visible in between). Artfully swirl the red groats under the cheese mixture with a fork, so that a beautiful, marbled pattern is created.
  5. Slide the cake into the preheated oven on the second level from the bottom and bake for 45-60 minutes until it is lightly browned on top.
