Ingredients

  • 2 packs herring fillet (s), 300 g each
  • 2 cups natural yoghurt, 3.5% fat
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 2 pickled cucumber (s)
  • 2 apples
  • 2 onions)
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip a mug of cream. Stir in the yogurt.
  2. Rinse the matjes under cold water, pat dry with kitchen paper and cut into small thin strips. Also cut the apples, onions and pickles into small pieces.
  3. Put everything in the bowl, stir, season with pepper.
  4. Let it steep in the refrigerator for approx. 1 hour.
  5. Jacket potatoes also taste good.
