  • 10 dumplings
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 g cheese, rated
  • some butter

Maultaschen Baked in Cream with Cheese

Instructions

  1. First you dice the onion and sauté it in butter until it is translucent.
  2. The Maultaschen are placed in a baking dish and the onions are poured over them. Then you pour the cream into the baking dish until the Maultaschen are almost completely covered with cream. Finally, the grated cheese comes on top.
  3. The baking dish is then covered with aluminum foil and placed in the preheated oven at approx. 200 degrees (convection) for approx. 15 minutes. Then remove the aluminum foil and leave the baking dish in the oven for another 5 - 10 minutes until the cheese has a nice color.
