This recipe for baked meat with rice, vegetables, and olives combines ease of preparation with excellent results. A fragrant, tasty, and satisfying dish will please the whole family. An appetizing cheese crust beckons to try this casserole as soon as possible.
Rinse the meat, dry it with a paper towel, and cut into strips. Peel the onion and cut it into thin feathers.
Combine meat, onions, dried spices (garlic, thyme, oregano, and black pepper), salt, and 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of olive oil. Squeeze 2 teaspoons of juice out of the lemon. Stir and leave for 15-20 minutes.
Rinse the rice and fill it with water (250 ml), boil for 15 minutes. Salt a little during cooking. Add the ketchup and the remaining olive oil to the finished rice. We mix.
Peel and cut sweet peppers into strips. Cut the olives into rings. In a frying pan with sunflower oil, fry the meat and onions until all the liquid has evaporated.
We turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Grease a baking dish (mine is 23×23 cm) with vegetable oil. We spread the fried meat with onions in the form.
Then add bell peppers and olives, spreading evenly.
Layout a layer of cooked rice. Salt and pepper sour cream, mix.
Lubricate the rice with sour cream. We send the form with meat, vegetables, rice, and olives to the oven for 20 minutes. Rub the mozzarella on a coarse grater.
We take out the form from the oven. Spread the mozzarella over the rice. We send it to the oven for another 10-15 minutes. If the oven supports convection mode, turn on this mode for the last 5 minutes of baking.
Let the finished dish cool slightly. Meat baked with rice, vegetables, and olives, ready to serve.
