Meat with Potatoes and Pickles, in Pots

Pork with potatoes and pickles, baked in a pot, is a hearty dish for a full family lunch or dinner. This dish combines both meat and vegetable side dishes, which is very convenient. You can cook meat and potatoes in one large pot or in small portioned pots.

Ingredients

  • Pork – 500 g
  • Potatoes – 700 g
  • Pickled cucumbers – 2 pcs.
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp
  • Granular mustard – 2 teaspoon
  • Hops-suneli – 1/3 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the pork into small pieces. Cut the pickled cucumbers into cubes. Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes and place the meat, potatoes and cucumbers in a deep bowl. Season with salt to taste, add suneli hops and mustard. Stir and leave the pork with potatoes and pickles for 30 minutes.
  2. Turn on the oven, let it heat up to 180 degrees. We will need an ovenproof baking pot or portion pots. Lubricate the inside with half the sour cream. Fill a pot with pickled meat, potatoes and cucumbers.
  3. Spread the remaining sour cream on top. Cover the pot with a lid. Roast pork with potatoes and pickles in a pot in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with potatoes and cucumbers.
