Ingredients
For the dough:
- 250 g hazelnuts, round
- 200 g suar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 2 drops bitter almond flavor
- 250 g flour
- 4 teaspoons, leveled baking powder
- 2 egg (s)
- 150 ml milk
For the cast:
- 200 g powdered suar, sifted
- 2 tablespoon coffee, cooked (espresso or strong coffee)
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- some water, hot, if necessary

- Mix the first six dough ingredients. Then add eggs and milk and mix everything with the mixer to a dough. Spread the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C hot air (good medium heat) for approx. 20 minutes.
- Spread with a topping immediately after baking. To do this, mix powdered sugar, espresso and butter and add so much hot water that it results in a viscous mass that you can just spread over the cake with the palette (tip: you can also use more boiled coffee instead of the hot water) .
