Ingredients

  • 500 g spahetti
  • 1 bunch spring onions or 2-3 leeks
  • 0.5 ½ cup olive oil
  • 5 tablespoon Maggi, (liquid)
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper, freshly ground
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the bunch of spring onions or the leek and then cut into small rings.
  2. Put on the water for the pasta (only add the salt when the water is boiling, otherwise the pasta may have a slightly bitter taste) and please only cook the pasta until it is firm to the bite, because the pasta will draw in later. If the noodles are cooked too soft, they will be overcooked later. After the noodles are cooked, rinse them with ice-cold water until they are really cold. Do not worry if the pasta becomes rigid as a result, it will come back.
  3. Now put the olive oil, Maggi, pasta and spring onions in a suitable bowl. Mix everything well and season with pepper. Please do not be confused if it tastes a little hotter at the beginning. Cover the bowl and stir gently every hour.
  4. After the steeping time of at least 5 hours, season to taste again and, if necessary, season with Maggi. The salad tastes best when you let it steep overnight.
