Ingredients

  • 2 piece (s) beef, (beef leg slices)
  • 100 g carrot (s)
  • 100 g celery
  • 2 onions)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 bay leaf
  • Thyme, fresh or dried
  • salt and pepper
  • Olive oil, butter
  • Wine, white, dry
  • Flour

Instructions

  1. Wash the meat, pat dry, cut a little bit of fat, season with salt and pepper and flour a little. Fry in the olive oil and butter mixture until brown. Cut the vegetables into thin strips and the spring onions into rolls, chop the onion and garlic and sauté everything together in the frying fat. Add the bay leaf and thyme, deglaze with wine and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cut 2 large pieces of aluminum foil. Place 1 slice of meat with ½ of the vegetables on the foil, drizzle 4 tablespoons of white wine over each, close the packet well and place it on the oven shelf. Cook in the preheated oven at 200 degrees on the 2nd rack from the bottom for a good 2 hours.
  3. This goes well with potato and celery puree or risotto Milanese.
