Pancake Rolls

Rolls of pancakes with fish and caviar are an unusual beautiful appetizer, which is essentially a primordial Russian dish, but in appearance resembles popular Chinese cuisine. It is not a shame to put such pancakes on the most exquisite table.

Ingredients

  • Pancakes – 10-12 pcs.
  • Lightly salted redfish – 150 g
  • Salted herring fillet – 200 g
  • Potatoes – 500 g
  • Sour cream – 1 tablespoon.
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Red caviar – 50 g
  • Dill or green onions – 1 bunch

Directions

  1. Boil the potatoes until cooked, add butter, sour cream, salt. You don’t need a lot of salt as the fish is salty.
  2. Mash with a potato grinder and beat (do not use a blender or food processor, the potatoes will be sticky and tasteless).
  3. Prepare the fish, freeing it from skin and bones, cut into pieces.
  4. Put the pancake on a cutting board, brush with a layer of the resulting mashed potatoes.
  5. Place a strip of herring and a strip of green onions or dill on one end.
  6. Roll tightly.
  7. For the second type of pancakes, place a row of redfish and a strip of red caviar next to it. Roll into a tight roll as well.
  8. From this amount of ingredients, I got 12 roll pancakes.
  9. Using a sharp knife, cut the resulting pancake rolls across into pieces about 1.5 cm thick.
  10. Place the herring rolls tightly on a flat dish. Next to it are chopped rolls with salmon.
  11. Serve warm with sour cream or cold as a snack.
