Pasta Baked with Fried Mushrooms

Pasta and fried mushrooms are baked in bechamel sauce until they are golden brown.

Ingredients

For fried mushrooms:

  • Champignon mushrooms – 360 g
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon.
  • Garlic (sliced) – 2 cloves
  • Vegetable oil for greasing the baking sheet
  • Sherry dry – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh oregano (chopped) – 2 teaspoon.

For casseroles:

  • Curly short pasta – 230 g
  • Flour – 30 g (about 1/4 cup)
  • Milk – 2.5 cups
  • Fontina cheese (shredded on a grater) – 120 g
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 0.25 teaspoon.
  • Vegetable oil for mold lubrication
  • Fresh oregano for serving (optional)

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 220 degrees.
  2. Combine mushrooms, salt, pepper, olive oil, and garlic in a large, deep oiled baking sheet. Place the mushrooms in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Then add oregano and sherry to the mushrooms, mix.
  3. Boil the pasta until tender, according to the instructions on the package. Drain.
  4. Pour flour into a saucepan, pour milk, put on medium heat, and, stirring constantly with a whisk, cook the sauce for about 6 minutes, until thickened. Then add cheese, salt, and pepper to the sauce, stir well, remove from the stove.
  5. Put the pasta and fried mushrooms in a saucepan with sauce, mix.
  6. Grease an ovenproof dish with a volume of 2 liters with oil, put the pasta with mushrooms in it.
  7. Place the pasta dish in the oven, bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle the prepared casserole with oregano leaves (optional). Serve immediately.
