Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta
  • 4 medium tomato (s)
  • some stalks chives
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • some salt and pepper
  • some oil, for frying
  • possibly mozzarella

Pasta with Caramelized Chives and Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta as usual. Peel the tomatoes as desired or cut into small pieces with the skin on. Chop the chives and sauté in oil, then sprinkle with sugar. The chives will brown quickly, then add the tomatoes to the pan and simmer over medium heat. Meanwhile, season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked pasta and stir well. If you want, you can cut the mozzarella into small cubes and finally fold it into the pasta and let it melt for a few minutes. Then serve hot.
