Ingredients

  • 1 cup peas, dried
  • 4 cup water
  • 1 slice (s) bacon, mixed
  • potato (s)
  • 1 bunch soup greens
  • 2 Cabanossi
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • salt and pepper
  • Broth, grains

Instructions

  1. Put the peas in a saucepan with the water and let stand overnight.
  2. The next day, cut the bacon into cubes and add to it. Add the cleaned, finely chopped soup greens, the chopped garlic and the finely diced onions, season with salt, pepper and granulated broth and simmer over low heat until a creamy foam is on the surface and the peas are soft.
  3. Then cut the potatoes into small cubes and the Cabanossi into slices and add them. If the stew gets too thick, add a little more water if necessary. Stir every now and then, as the stew burns very easily. Cook for another 1/2 hour, then season to taste and serve.
