Pickled Onions with Dill and Cchili

Pickled onion recipe with fresh dill and chili, which can be served with a kebab. Pickled onions reveal new, rich tastes of meat and give a barbecue a unique taste.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Onions – 350 g
  • Fresh dill – 10 g
  • Hot chili pepper – 1 pc.
  • Vinegar 6% – 2 tbsp
  • Ground sumac – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Peel the onion and cut it into half rings.
  2. Place the onions in a bowl.
  3. Chop the dill (only twigs, no stems) and add to a plate with onions.
  4. Cut hot peppers with seeds into rings.
  5. Add salt, sumac, sugar, hot chili and vinegar to a plate with onions and dill.
  6. Mix everything gently. Cover a plate of onions with cling film and leave for 30 minutes.
  7. Pickled onion with dill and hot pepper is ready, you can serve it with barbecue.
