Pilaf with Broccoli and Sour Cream

According to this recipe, pilaf is stewed with the addition of sour cream and broccoli. Pilaf has a delicate creamy texture.

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil – 2 teaspoon.
  • Onions (shredded) – 1/4 cup
  • Bulgarian pepper (chopped) – 1/4 cup
  • Rice – 2 cups
  • Water – 1 1/3 cups
  • Broccoli (divided into inflorescences) – 150 g
  • Sour cream – 200 g
  • Parsley leaves (chopped) – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. Boil broccoli in salted water until half cooked. Throw in a colander, let the water drain. Transfer to a paper towel to completely evaporate the moisture. Then cut the chilled cabbage into small pieces, transfer to a bowl, and set aside.
  2. Pour oil into a small saucepan. Pour the onions and peppers into an oiled pan and fry until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add rice, water, sour cream, broccoli, parsley, and salt to a saucepan. Mix well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook until rice is cooked, about 15-20 minutes (the liquid should evaporate completely). Before serving, open a saucepan and let stand at room temperature for about 5 minutes.
