Ingredients

  • 700 g minced beef
  • 300 g minced pork
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 3 clove (s) garlic, chopped
  • 150 g mineral water
  • 1 tablespoon, leveled baking soda, (carbonate)
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon black ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients very well in a plastic bowl, approx. 10 minutes. Let it steep in the refrigerator for about 6 hours.
  2. Divide the meat into 5 portions and shape the hamburgers, just under 1 cm thick. Fry the hamburgers briefly on the grill or in the steak pan without adding fat on both sides.
  3. For the variant - filled with cheese - put a flat slice of feta cheese in the middle and shape the hamburger, this makes it a little thicker and has to be grilled or fried a little longer.
  4. For the spicy version, finely chopped chilli or ground chilli can be mixed into the batter.
  5. This goes well with fresh white bread and mixed salad.
