Pork Ribs in Soy-Honey Sauce, Baked with Potatoes

Pork ribs seasoned with spices, soy sauce, honey and lemon juice, baked with potatoes is a delicious dish that will help out in any situation. Active cooking takes about 10 minutes, then the dish is baked in the oven without your participation. Tasty, simple and convenient, because the dish turns out to be “two in one” – juicy meat and a fragrant garnish for it. Try it!

Ingredients

  • Pork ribs – 500 g
  • Potatoes – 500 g
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon (juice) – 1/4 pc.
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Seasoning for meat – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground curry – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 2 pinches (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Lettuce leaves (for serving) – 4-6 pcs.

Directions

  1. Peel and rinse potatoes. Cut the potatoes into slices (6-8 pieces). Rinse the meat under running water, dry and cut into 1 rib portions. Place the potatoes in a small bowl. Add half of the spice mixture, vegetable oil, a pinch of salt and ground pepper to taste. Mix everything well.
  2. Place the pork ribs in a separate bowl. Squeeze 1 tablespoon of the lemon. a spoonful of juice. Add the second half of the spice mixture, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, a pinch of salt and ground pepper to the meat. Mix everything thoroughly. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Arrange the ribs and potatoes in one layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Place the ribs with potatoes in a preheated oven and bake for 40-50 minutes, until tender. Pierce the meat with a knife. If the ribs are ready, then a clear juice will appear at the puncture site.
  4. Pork ribs in soy-honey sauce, baked with potatoes, are ready. Serve the dish to the table hot, adding fresh herbs or vegetable salad if desired.
