Pork Schnitzel (with Cheese)

The pork schnitzel recipe is very easy to cook at home, without using newfangled techniques and expensive products. We will also generously season the meat with white horseradish and mustard, which will add a delicate, spicy, and piquant touch to our dish.

Ingredients

  • Pork (shoulder) – 400 g
  • Hard cheese – 2 plates
  • Horseradish – 4 teaspoon.
  • Eggs – 1 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil – 6 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread crumbs – 4 tbsp
  • Mustard – 4 teaspoon
  • Dried nutmeg – 0.5 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. Cut the meat into not very thick pieces. Beat it slightly with a kitchen hammer.
  2. Salt and sprinkle with nutmeg on both sides.
  3. Then generously coat one side of the schnitzel with horseradish, the other with mustard. Leave the meat to marinate for 15 minutes. 
  4. After 15 minutes dip the schnitzels first in a beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs.
  5. In a frying pan with vegetable oil, fry the meat on both sides for 10 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the fried schnitzels with finely chopped cheese and place in the oven. Cooking meat for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
  7. Pork schnitzel with mustard and horseradish ready. Enjoy your meal!
