Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Wash the celery and remove the lengthwise threads, also cut into small cubes.
Heat the oil in a pan or saucepan that fits a lid and let the potato cubes take on color. Add the celery and stir once. Pour the wild garlic paste over it, reduce the heat, put on the lid and let it steep.
After about 5 minutes, check whether everything is done, stir vigorously and, if necessary, season with white pepper and salt.
