Potato Croquettes with Cheese

Deep-fried potato croquettes with cheese are a delicious and satisfying snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 3-4 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs – 3 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil for deep-fat – 200 ml
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making potato croquettes with cheese.
  2. Boil potatoes in peel until tender. Cool and clean.
  3. Grate the peeled potatoes on a medium grater.
  4. Grate the cheese on the same grater and add it to the potatoes.
  5. Beat in an egg, salt, and pepper. Grind potatoes with cheese and egg until smooth.
  6. Pour in flour, mix everything well.
  7. Roll small balls from the potato cheese mass and roll them in breadcrumbs.
  8. Deep-fry the potato balls. Place croquettes on a paper towel to absorb excess fat.
  9. Delicious potato croquettes with cheese are ready. Serve hot with mustard or any other sauce.
