- 1 kg potato (s)
- 1 large savoy cabbage
- Water (salt water)
- 200 g bacon, smoked, diced
- 50 g butter
- Salt and pepper, black
- nutmeg

- Peel the potatoes, clean the savoy cabbage, cut both into pieces and boil them together in salted water until soft. Then sieve, whereby the cooking water should be collected.
- Mash the potatoes and savoy cabbage with the potato masher until you have a puree. However, pieces may still be present. If the puree is too firm, add the cooking water.
- Fry the diced bacon in a large frying pan or saucepan until crispy. Add the puree and mix well. Stir in the butter, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Possibly add cooking water.
- This dish tastes very good and is nicely rounded off by the nutmeg. My 3 men love to eat it!
