Potatoes with Sour Cream and Herbs

Aromatic and tasty potatoes with sour cream, seasoned with fresh herbs – the best side dish for any meat dish for lunch or dinner. You can use green onions for a savory taste if desired.

Servings: 2-3

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 7 Pieces
  • Sour cream – 4 Art. spoons (any fat content)
  • Parsley – 0.25 Bunch
  • Dill – 0.25 Bunch
  • Salt – 0.5 Teaspoons

Directions

  1. Prepare the indicated ingredients. It is best to use homemade sour cream, but you can also store any fat content.
  2. Peel the potatoes and rinse them in water, place them in a saucepan and cover them with hot water so that they completely cover the tubers. Add salt and place the container on the stove. Bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes over moderate heat.
  3. Rinse fresh herbs and chop, add together with sour cream of any fat content to a container with boiled potatoes. If the sour cream is not greasy, then additionally add a piece of butter to the container.
  4. Cover the container with a lid and shake the container so that the sour cream and herbs are evenly distributed over the boiled tubers.
  5. Place the cooked dish on a plate and serve hot.
