Protein Omelet with Peas and Herbs

Omelet with Idaho peas and herbs, very tasty and healthy. You can cook such an omelet with any vegetables in various combinations to your taste.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Idaho peas – 1/3 cup
  • chicken egg (large) – 2 pcs.
  • kefir – 6 tablespoons
  • greens (green onions, parsley, dill) – 1 bunch
  • onion – 1 pc.
  • garlic (clove) – 1 pc.
  • vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons
  • ground black pepper
  • salt

Directions

Cook time: 30 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes

Boil Idaho peas according to the instructions. Salt at the end of cooking. Cooked, pour out the excess liquid from the pan. You can puree.

Prepare the egg mixture: beat two large eggs with 6 tbsp kefir and with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Peel and chop finely onions and garlic. Fry in vegetable oil with peas until onions are transparent.

Add the egg mixture to the pan.

Then finely chopped greens, cover, and cook over low heat.

We serve hot omelet to the table in a frying pan and put it on plates at the table. Vegetable salad can be served with an omelet.
