Puff Pastry Snail Buns with Sugar and Cinnamon

A very quick and incredibly simple recipe for flavored cinnamon buns for tea. Snail buns are prepared from puff yeast dough.

Servings: 16

Ingredients

  • Yeast puff pastry – 1 kg
  • Butter – 60 g
  • Sugar – 150 g (to taste)
  • Ground cinnamon – to taste
  • Salt – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Roll the yeast puff pastry into a rectangular layer 0.5 cm thick.
  2. Lubricate the dough with soft butter over the entire surface, not reaching 3 centimeters to the edge.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, as well as a pinch of salt, also not reaching 3 centimeters to the edge.
  4. We roll the dough into a roll. We fix the edge.
  5. We cut the roll into 16 parts.
  6. You can expand the layers to make roses.
  7. Place the cinnamon rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or foil sprinkled with flour.
  8. Leave the puff pastry buns for proofing for about 1 hour under a plastic wrap or towel.
  9. Puff pastry snail buns, with sugar and cinnamon, bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 170-180 degrees until golden brown (15-20 minutes).
