Pumpkin Seed Cookies

Simple, tasty and healthy cookies for tea or morning coffee. And for the kids, serve pastries with milk or hot cocoa, they will definitely not refuse it!

Cook: 1 hour

Servings: 8-10

Ingredients

  • Flour – 180-200 Grams
  • Butter – 110 Grams
  • Sugar – 60 Grams
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Pumpkin seeds – 50 Grams
  • Salt – 1 Pinch

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Pour flour, sugar and seeds into a blender bowl.
  3. Grind everything until smooth.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a deep bowl, add the diced butter and salt.
  5. Grind everything into crumbs and add an egg.
  6. Knead a soft, slightly sticky dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Then, pinching off the pieces from the dough, form into balls the size of a walnut. Transfer the blanks to a baking sheet lined with parchment.
  8. Press down on each ball lightly with your hand and garnish the top with pumpkin seeds if desired, pressing them into the dough. Bake in the oven at 190 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  9. The pumpkin seed cookies are ready.
