  • 100 grams flour
  • 100 g suar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 150 g jam or Nutella or plum jam - also leftovers from various jams

Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff, put the flour, sugar, baking powder and egg yolk in the same bowl and immediately stir carefully on the lowest level. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper approx. 25 cm and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 15 minutes at 180 ° C.
  2. In the meantime, heat the jam / plum jam - do not use Nutella!
  3. When the baking time is over, turn the sheet of dough out onto a clean tea towel and peel off the baking paper. Spread jam / plum jam / Nutella on the hot dough sheet and roll up from the shorter side. This must all be done very quickly and with the dough sheet warm, otherwise the biscuit will tear or break. Then let it cool down and cover it with powdered sugar or icing or chocolate coating, partially or completely, depending on your preference. Also delicious when warm.
