- 1 bag dumpling dough (half and half potato dumplings), from the refrigerated shelf
- 1 onion (s), finely diced
- 100 g beef, finely diced
- 1 egg (s)
- milk

- For the quick potato waffles, put the dumpling batter in a bowl. Make a smooth batter with the egg and milk. The amount of milk always depends on the consistency of the dough, but it should be 100 - 200 ml. It is best to add them slowly and check the consistency over and over again. It should be similar to that of a fluffy puree. Mix in the onion and jerky meat, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Heat a waffle iron, coat with oil and fry crispy waffles. We like to go with applesauce best. A green salad also tastes delicious as a side dish.
- The recipe can be varied according to your mood, e.g., with leek, diced mushrooms, salami, boiled ham
- You can also use the waffles as a side dish, for example. Serve, for example, with goulash or roast with sauce, but then I leave out the bacon.
