Recipe of Ziti

Attention! Attention! Now I will reveal to the world the recipe for ziti. This recipe was sent to me by Carmela Soprano herself (For those who do not know, she is the wife of a mafia boss from New Jersey. Only this should not be made public)

Ingredients

  • Garlic (medium cloves) – 7-8 pieces
  • Black pepper (peas) – 5-10 pieces
  • Basil (twigs) – 3-4 pieces
  • Tomato (canned) – 400 g
  • Olive oil – 1/4 cup
  • Sweet paprika – 1 tbsp
  • Anchovies (fillet) – 4-8 pcs
  • Capers – 100 g
  • Olives (black, pitted) – 1 ban.
  • Parmesan (the amount you need to sprinkle the dish on top. At your discretion.)

Directions

  1. Grind pepper and salt in a mortar. Garlic and basil, put in a food processor to be mashed, add a mixture of a mortar and 5-6 tablespoons of water, process for another 30 seconds.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan, finely chopped garlic, add anchovies. Stir the mixture, knead the anchovies with a fork, add paprika, capers and olives, fry for another 20 seconds.
  3. Dice the tomatoes (both fresh and canned). Transfer the tomatoes to a saucepan and simmer over low heat for another 5 minutes.
  4. Switch on the oven.
  5. Boil Al dente ziti (or pre –al dente, if you like al dente in the end), put in a baking dish, mix with base # 1 and # 2. Sprinkle with Parmesan and put in the oven for 1-2 minutes.

Serve immediately!
