Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s) (potatoes)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Caraway seed
  • nutmeg
  • 3 clove (s) garlic, pressed through
  • 2 tablespoon oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion (s), finely grated
  • 150 g bacon, diced, very finely cut

  • Clarified butter, for frying

Instructions

  1. Finely grate the peeled potatoes, leave to stand for approx. 10 minutes, squeeze out and pour off the liquid. Mix the grated potatoes well with all the other ingredients.
  2. Heat clarified butter, put in small buffers, flatten a little and fry until crispy on both sides.
  3. We also eat tzatziki with a dollop of cranberries, and a green salad also goes well.
