- 0.7 kg rhubarb
- 2 large apples
- 3 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon citric acid
- 2 carnation (s)
- 1 small cinnamon stick (s)

- Peel the rhubarb and apples and cut into small pieces. Put in a saucepan and fill up with water, not completely covered. Add sugar, citric acid and spices. Steam for 20 minutes either in the steamer or on the stove on a low flame.
- Pour hot into Twist Off jars and close immediately.
