Ingredients

For the filling:

  • 250 g rhubarb
  • 200 g apples
  • 60 g suar
  • 0.5 ½ pack pudding powder
  • 2 tablespoon apple juice

For the sprinkles:

  • 260 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 130 g butter
  • Almond (s), sliced

Instructions

  1. This recipe is designed for a shape with a diameter of 26 cm!
  2. Clean, peel and cut the rhubarb and apples into small cubes. Put in a bowl and mix with sugar, custard powder and juice.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  4. For the streusel, place the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, the egg and the warmed butter in a second bowl and work it into a crumbly mixture. Grease the pie form and press two thirds of the crumble into it so that the base is covered and an approx. 1 cm high rim can be formed. Put the apple and rhubarb mix on top. Scatter the remaining crumble and flaked almonds over the top.
  5. Bake the pie in the oven for about 45 minutes.
