Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg pork (rib)
  • 200 g prunes
  • 2 apples, sour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • some butter

Instructions

  1. Wash the ribs, drain them and rub with salt. Cut a pocket into the meat along the bone. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into quarters or eighths, depending on the size.
  2. Fill the rib with the prunes and apples and seal the bag with kitchen twine or toothpicks. Put some butter in a baking dish and let it heat up in the oven, add the rib and fry in the butter on all sides for 1.5 to 2 hours until golden.
  3. Pour in hot water from time to time so that there is enough liquid to make a good sauce.
  4. Boiled potatoes and fresh salad go well with it.
