Ingredients
- 250 g rice (short rain rice)
- 250 grams sugar
- 4 egg (s), separated
- 125 g butter
- 1 tablespoon jam (apple jelly)
- 1 lemon (s), add the juice from it

- 50 g almond (s), chopped
- 1 packet vanilla sugar

- Cook the short grain rice in water and let it cool down. Mix the egg yolks with sugar until foamy and beat until thick with the butter, apple jelly and lemon juice in a water bath. Mix with the rice.
- Grease a baking dish with butter, add half of the rice mixture, spread the fruit over it and cover with the remaining rice. Beat the egg whites with the vanilla sugar until stiff, spread over the rice and sprinkle with almonds. Baked in the oven at 220 ° C for approx. 30 - 40 minutes.
