Ingredients

  • 6 fig (s), ripe
  • 200 ml wine, red, (or red grape juice)
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 250 g ricotta
  • 6 sprigs thyme
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoon pine nuts

For decoration:

  • thyme

Instructions

  1. Put red wine and honey in a saucepan and let reduce until creamy.
  2. Strip off half of the thyme, cut the leaves into small pieces, add to the ricotta. Add oil, pepper and salt and stir everything well.
  3. Halve the figs, make a small well in the middle and fill the mixture on top. Put together with the rest of the thyme in an ovenproof dish and grill in the preheated oven at top heat for approx. 3-5 minutes.
  4. Toast the pine nuts in a pan without oil until golden.
  5. Serving:
  6. Place the figs on a plate, pour some of the reduced red wine and honey sauce over them and distribute the pine nuts on the figs, decorate with thyme.
  7. Good Appetite!
