Ingredients
For the dough:
- 420 g flour
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 200 g suar
- 2 sachets vanilla sugar
- 2 egg (s)
- 250 g butter, or mararine
For the filling:
- 375 g butter, or mararine
- 1 kg low-fat quark
- 2 sachets vanilla sugar
- 2 bags pudding powder, vanilla
- 4 egg (s)
- 250 grams sugar
- Flour, for the work surface

- Dough:
- Mix the flour with cocoa powder and baking powder and sift into a mixing bowl. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs and butter. Work the ingredients well with the hand mixer (dough hook) briefly on the lowest, then on the highest level.
- Then knead the dough briefly on a lightly floured work surface. Roll out two thirds of the dough on a baking sheet. Place a baking frame around it.
- Only applies to normal baking trays. The baking frame is not required for baking pans (high baking sheet).
- Filling:
- Melt the butter and let it cool (works great in the microwave). Mix the quark with sugar, vanilla sugar, pudding powder and eggs in a bowl using a hand mixer with a whisk. Stir in liquid butter or margarine. Mix everything to a uniform mass, distribute on the dough and smooth out.
- Tear the remaining dough into small pieces and spread on the filling.
- For the children`s birthday party or as required, you can also conjure up great things with cookie cutters, e.g. for children the figures from Die Sendung mit der Maus, or other figures that the child wants.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (top and bottom heat) and bake the cake for about 45 minutes in the middle of the oven. Chopsticks are recommended because the ovens are different.
