- 1 cup sour cream, 200 g
- 1 cup buttermilk or kefir (500 ml)
- 2 packs baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 800 grams flour
- oil

- Mix all ingredients together. Knead the dough vigorously, but not too tightly, it still has to stick a little. If possible, let it rest in the refrigerator for several hours.
- Then roll out about 0.5 cm thick and cut into diamond-shaped pieces. Slit open the middle and pull the end through the slit. Fry in plenty of hot oil in a deep pan.
- Tastes best with homemade jam.
