Ingredients

  • 1 small can saffron threads (small can)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 60 g flour
  • 50 g butter
  • 150 ml broth, clear

Instructions

  1. Bring the 150 ml broth with the saffron threads and butter to the boil. Stir in the flour and roast for about 1 minute. Remove the mixture from the heat, allow to cool a little and stir with 1 egg to a smooth dough.
  2. Bring the salt water to the boil. Cut out dumplings from the mixture with a spoon and simmer in the gently flowing water for about 10 minutes. Lift out the dumplings and let them drain.
  3. Then serve the dumplings in the broth of your choice as a filler.
