Ingredients

  • 250 g soup meat
  • 5 large carrot (s)
  • 3 medium potato (s)
  • 0.5 ½ celery
  • 2 parsley root (s)
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 4 large peppers, pickled
  • 4 medium cucumber (s), (pickles)
  • 1 small Can (s) peas
  • 250 g mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper
  • Pepper (s), pickled, for decoration

Instructions

  1. Cook the soup meat, carrots, potatoes, celery, parsley root and onion in water until cooked (like for a soup).
  2. Just peel and halve the carrots and potatoes. For the Salad de Boeuf you only need the beef, the carrots and the potatoes. Take these out of the soup and let them cool down. Then cut into small cubes together with the pickled peppers and pickles and let the peas drain off in the meantime. Put everything together in a bowl, mix with the mayonnaise (reserve a small part) and season with salt and pepper. Smooth the whole thing over and spread the mayonnaise on top. Garnish with pickled peppers cut into strips. Chill for 2 hours.
