Salted Omul

I salt omul both fresh and frozen, the taste is no different. The recipe for salted omul is very simple.

Ingredients

  • Omul – 3 pieces
  • Salt – about 200 grams

Directions

  1. We clean the omul from the insides, rinse.
  2. We put salt on the newspaper.
  3. Dip the omul on both sides in salt and salt the middle well.
  4. And so all the fish. TIP – do not be afraid to oversalt the fish, it is better to oversalt than undersalt, because you can get poisoned with unsalted fish, and if you oversalt, in extreme cases, the fish can be washed.
  5. We put the fish in a basin, belly up.
  6. We cover with a plate, put “oppression”, let it stand on the table for 1 hour, the fish will give juice in an hour. We put it in the refrigerator for 5 hours!
  7. We clean the omul from the skin and bones. You can serve salted omul with onions and lemon, or without any additives – it will be very tasty!
